At Outplay, we have an fantastic opportunity within our growing marketing team for a driven, creative & analytical ASO manager. This role requires a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual; joining a friendly marketing team made up of gamers passionate about building up our player base and driving player engagement at every touchpoint.
In this role you will be taking ownership of our App Store & Google Play listings (across 8 titles), managing and optimising our store presence in order to improve our rankings and maximise our install rate. You will assess best practice around ASO while working closely with our marketing team, analytics team, games teams and senior stake holders in order to define and implement strategy across our entire portfolio.
The role will include shaping our organic strategy, copy writing, competitor monitoring, industry research, data analysis, reviewing visual communication, and guiding designers in creating engaging and relevant assets. A/B testing will lie at the heart of every new idea, and play a critical role in evaluating changes in order to extract learnings and report on impact. While the ASO manager will report directly to the Head of Marketing, there will direct communications with many levels of senior stake holders within the company; the ability to communicate data heavy test results clearly and confidently is essential.
Key qualities and experience we are looking for:
- Experience of data driven digital marketing - ASO, SEO beneficial but not essential
- A good understanding of the mobile gaming market and app stores
- Organised, analytical and detail-oriented with ability to work under own initiative
- A keen sense for stand out visual communication
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (English language)
- Energy, drive & an obsession with monitoring and iterating for optimisation
